It feels a bit unusual to lock up my office at the end of the day

It's about 6:25pm on Monday, February 25 and I'm heading home from my new office.  I just wrapped up a presentation rehearsal with Marcel Skacel, co-founder of XenoWize and my co-presenter for Thursday's SCORE Chicago workshop entitled Web Design That Works.  Web design, social networking, commercial real estate and games - I guess I'm a bit of a modern-day renaissance man.  As we headed out, I stopped Marcel so I could "lock up" my office.  Now, I just moved in, so I don't have anything of value in the space (except a paper sign I made encouraging others to drop in and say hello.  Since I previously officed in a series of progressive cubes when I worked at Microsoft and then worked out of somewhat demised office (sans door) at UGL Equis, it was a first for me to actually have an office with a door and a lock.  I believe that I only exercised the opportunity to lock because it represented a choice for me to do just that.  It's amazing how much one's outlook can change when they have options... the freedom to choose.  Part of my vision with GameTime 24x7 is to demonstrate to others that they often have more choices than they think, whether during a game or in the infinite game of life.  What choice did you exercise today?
